NANDI DEPUTY GOVERNOR MR DOMINIC BIWOTT PRAISES ICC DECISION

Nandi County Deputy Governor Dominic Biwott has praised the decision by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to acquit Deputy President William Ruto and Radio Journalist Joshua Arap Sang.

Biwott congratulated Ruto and Sang after the ICC judges terminated their case, adding that he was delighted that the duo had been vindicated.

Speaking today in Kapsabet town as residents continued to celebrate the ICC ruling, Biwott said the Kalenjin nation had been put to trial given that Ruto was carrying their burden and commended DP Ruto for his patience and humility during the six years of trial at the ICC.

“This moment was long overdue but no less joyful,”said Biwott.

The Deputy County boss said the quest for Justice was incomplete since the ICC blindly pursued ill-conceived, defective agenda at the expense of accountability for post-election violence.

“This should be a warning to those who want to falsely fix other leaders in the future that they will not succeed since justice can never be defeated,” added Biwott.
