SPORT AND FITNESS DEVELOPMENT FOR A VIBRANT HUMAN RESOURCE WELLNESS
On Monday, the Deputy Governor Dr. Yulita Cheruiyot led the County Staff in celebrating the Nandi County team which excelled during the recently concluded 10th edition of KICOSCA Games that was held in Meru County. The event also provided a platform for creating and promoting a culture of openness and support around mental health issues.

Further, as part of the county’s commitment towards this course, the County Department of Sports has launched a Staff Fitness and Wellness Day as a tool for reducing the impact of mental health issues. The activity shall be held once every month bringing together all the county staff.
A section of Nandi county team presented with certificates as proof of award for exceptional performance.
Present at the event were the Deputy County Secretary Dr Lydia Kosgei, CEC for Sports Rose Angira, CEC for Finance Hillary Serem, CEC for Health Ruth Koech, CEC for Lands Dr Philemon Bureti, Chief Officer for Sports Beatrice Jemurgor and the Chief Officer for Education Joseph Kipchumba, departmental directors among other senior county officials.
