
TOKYO OLYMPIC MARATHON CHAMPION PERIS CHEPCHIRCHIR RECEIVES HEROIC WELCOME
Olympic Champion Peres Jepchirchir, who obliterated the World Road Running Championships in Riga, Latvia, received a heroic welcome by the county leadership at Eldoret International Airport.

Triple World Half Marathon Champion Peres Jepchirchir Ngeno and her husband Mr. Ngeno received at the Airport by County Leadership And Fans.
Upon her touchdown, she was received by Sports CEC Member Rose Angira, family, relatives and her fellow athletes and displayed her medal to the waiting crowd.

Triple World Half Marathon Champion Peres Jepchirchir Ngeno received at her home in Kapsabet by CEC Social Welfare, Youth Affairs, Sports,Culture and Arts, Rose Angira, neighbors and fans.
Peres led a Kenyan 1-2-3 finish at the World Road running championships in Riga, Latvia on Sunday.
Speaking at the home of the Champion in Irimis, Kapsabet, the CEC Member congratulated Peres for her sterling performance in Latvia and reiterated Governor Sang administration’s commitment to transforming the lives of the youth by supporting their sports talents.
“We want to assure athletes from Nandi county of a better future,” she said.
The CEC Member further noted that through sports, different communities in the county come together to interact in sporting activities which helps in facilitating peaceful coexistence among various communities across Nandi.
