Mr. Nelson Ligaga

Youthful NELSON LIGAGA is currently pursuing a Masters in Education History at Moi University.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in from Moi University.

Ligaga attained a Teachers’ Training Certificate from Kaimosi Teachers Training College, Computer Certification from Royal Computer College and Sales and Marketing from Jojo Agencies K. LTD.

He also attended Kahawa Secondary School and Musasa Primary School, located in Nandi County.

During his stay at Celtel Kenya LTD, now Airtel Kenya, Ligaga worked as a Sales Agent.

He has also worked with Pioneer Assurance Company, Kisumu as a Sales Executive.

He previously taught Sifa Hills Academy, Eldoret and Musasa IPA Secondary School, Lusengeli Secondary School and Rev. Kitonyi Memorial Secondary, Machakos. At Musasa, he was the acting Head Teacher, and while in Machakos, he was the HOD, Languages.

During the laying down of pipes for the Nandi County (Koibarak) water project, Ligaga worked as a supervisor.

Ligaga has a passion for soccer and handball and this is evident given that he was the soccer girls’ team and handball boys’ team coach at Lusengeli secondary school.

Additionally, he has previously as a reporter at the Kaimosi Union of Journalists (KUJ).

Mr. Kennedy Cheruiyot Tanui

KENNEDY CHERUIYOT TANUI holds a Masters in Education (Education Communication & Technology) from Kisii University.

Tanui holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Nairobi. He attended Kaptel Boys High and Kapsisiywa Primary school.

He has worked as a lecturer at Kaiboi Technical Training Institute in the Department of Business Communication. He was also HOD Games at the Institute.

Tanui was appointed a Track Referee and Technical Committee Member at IAAF World Under 18 Championships in Nairobi.

In his line of profession, Tanui was appointed as the Head Coach for Team Kenya to IAAF World Marathon Championships 2016, in Cardiff City, UK. Kenya won in this competition.

Tanui was also appointed by the IAAF as the High Perfomance Training Centre Administrator in 2014 and worked as a Secretary General Athletics Kenya Central Rift Region, Sec. Gen Nandi County, and Chairman Mosop Sub County.

He was the Team Manager and Head Coach to World Indoor Championships in Poland in 2014. Additionally, Tanui was appointed the coach for Team Kenya to IAAF World Junior Championships in Barcelona in August 2012 where Kenya emerged second to the USA.

He was appointed by the Federation of International De Volleyball FIVB as an International Referee in 2011, International Technical Official from Africa by IAAF, and National Referee for 2011 FIVB Africa Cup of Club Senior Women Champions in Nairobi.

Tanui was awarded a diploma in recognition and appreciation for his contribution to the success of the 17th IAAF/CAA African Senior Athletics Championships where he served as a Call Room Referee.

He played for Chemilil Sugar Company Volleyball Team in the National Leagues from 1996 to 2003.

Tanui also participated in the Eastern Africa Inter-Universities Decathlons where he was position two in East Africa, 400 M and 110 M hurdles where he was the champion.

Tanui is married and blessed with Children.

Mr. Elly Kurgat

Elly is an Agribusiness Management graduate who has demonstrated experience developing intervention strategies that address youth radicalization in high risk environments. He has practical experience designing, sourcing funds and implementing ideas geared towards addressing youth unemployment. He is credited with the generation and development of the Youth Agribusiness Incubation centers that trains, mentors and support Youth Led Initiatives in the Agribusiness Sector. He has been extensively involved in community youth mentorship programmes and initiatives and has widely consulted with international donor agencies on multi-cultural projects and supported their implementations, simultaneously. Recently, he consulted as a Youth Sector Specialist in the development of the Kenya Investment Mechanism; a funded programme that aims at boosting investments and business development by the youth by $1M in five years. He is currently working with Agricultural Development Corporation. Elly is married with one child and hails from Tinderet Sub-County.
